This is the Advent week of JOY, where we get to remember that Jesus was anointed with the oil of gladness! We get to anticipate the day where He will establish His joyous rule upon the earth. More than that, we get to learn how to access His joy here and now even as we wrestle through trials, suffering and persecutions.

The story of the New Testament is not about individuals who persevered in faith and discipleship… It's about communities (called churches) surrendered to Jesus who are learning to establish heaven’s culture on earth together.

By focusing on what God has provided through gratitude, we magnify the Lord’s goodness and faithfulness which multiplies it in our lives!

The promise to build the Church and the promise of its victory are exclusively upheld by Jesus! Our job is to learn how to use the keys that we might build the Kingdom. As we focus on Kingdom living, Jesus Himself will take care of building His Church.
