Experience lasting transformation as you grow in your understanding of God, identity in Christ, knowledge of Scripture, and more.
Learn to walk in the presence, power and purpose of the Holy Spirit and allow God to form you more into his likeness in the process.

A School of Preparation
Whether your next step is to be an accountant in SLC or a missionary in Mumbai, the Discipleship School is designed to activate and prepare you to be a Spirit-empowered witness wherever the Lord leads you.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” — Acts 1:8
More About the School

Classes meet weekly on Mondays from 6:30-9:30pm and will run from January through May. We conclude in June with an international Summer outreach to engage in church planting initiatives overseas.

Over 17 weeks, we’ll move through core themes like knowing God, knowing Jesus, the work of the Holy Spirit, spiritual disciplines, holiness, and identity. We’ll also address real-life discipleship skills including hearing God, spiritual warfare, finances, sexuality, suffering, and embracing your calling. The aim is a wholehearted faith that touches every part of life.

Class time will include biblical teaching from experienced ministry leaders within the body of Christ. Pastors Chris and Arlina Pletcher will be the primary teaching leaders, with frequent guest teaching from other Utah pastors and ministry leaders.

Classes will include participation in activities such as worship, prayer, leadership, and evangelism. Students are given the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones in a safe environment to practice and grow in these areas within community.

Ultimately, you will get out of the experience what you are able to put into it. The staff will do everything in its power to develop and equip you, and we have found that personal ownership in this process is key for the school to be successful for you but you need to come into the school with a desire to grow in God.

The cost for Discipleship School is $150 per month or a single payment of $700 for individuals.
Couples can enroll for $250 per month or a single payment of $1,150.
If you apply by December 1, you’ll receive an additional $100 off your total, a small nudge of encouragement to jump in early!
