But the real miracle of Christmas is this: that the One who holds all authority didn’t stay distant. He came near. He entered our world not in might, but in humility. He came not only to be with us—but to be in us, to make us holy, and to change everything.

From the moment the angel announced Jesus' birth, the message was clear: this child would be a king. Not just a king—but the King. The King of kings. His kingdom would be eternal. His reign would never end.

When we call Jesus our Wonderful Counselor, we’re saying He is an incomprehensible wise commander. Not just someone who listens, but someone who leads—with holy insight and perfect understanding.

Many of us struggle to understand the idea of God as Father because of our own experiences with earthly fathers. But Scripture reveals a Heavenly Father who is perfect, present, and personal. He isn’t distant. He isn’t passive. He isn’t too busy. He is a Father who holds us—and who never lets go.
