KINGDOM KIDS

KINGDOM KIDS

Kingdom Kids exists to equip and empower
the next generation to encounter the Living God
and walk in His ways

How do we do that?

  • Ministering to the hearts of our babies by stewarding the presence of God and His peace, while extending gentle and compassionate care.

  • Impressing His Word on our toddlers as they play, move, sit down, and eat. Inviting them to come, without hindrance, as we continue to steward the presence of God. We follow an adapted version of the "Playing Through the Bible" curriculum, adjusted for this age group.

  • Continuing to impress the Word of the Lord on our children, equipping them with a foundational knowledge of the Bible and what seeking His presence means for their very own lives. We follow an adapted version of the "Playing Through the Bible" curriculum.

  • Empowering our Elementary students to grow strong in Spirit and in truth walking in step with Him in corporate encounter, service, and discipleship. Our children are now an active part in stewarding His presence. We use an adapted version of the Think Orange 252 curriculum.

  • On the first Sunday of every month, Kingdom Kids will not open until after worship. Parents can grab their kids’ tags before service for any easy transition.

Purpose & Vision of Children in Worship:
    - Invite our kids to encounter God corporately with the whole church body. (Our children engage in corporate worship and encounter God weekly with their age groups.)
    - Model to our kids what authentic worship looks like. “Bringing our children into worship affords them the opportunity to observe the importance and delight in the life of their parents.” -Let the Children Worship
    - Empower our kids to be involved in creating an atmosphere of praise and worship (Psalm 8:2).
    - In the Bible, we see that discipling our kids is an “as you go” model, instructing our children in the midst of acts of worship (Deuteronomy 4:6-9, Exodus 13:8).
    - Children are part of the congregation (and children who are saved by the blood of Christ are, in fact, a part of the covenant Body!!!)… Let's let our actions communicate that. Consciously or unconsciously we are making a statement about how we view our children when we include or exclude them (Joel 2:16, Deuteronomy 16:11).
